There are 2 types of searches available, one through desktop and other from mobile. Desktop-based paid search are down to 34% from 38% of the total ad revenue if we compare it from last year This was down from 38 percent a year ago.
But overall in terms of dollars generated its more than 1 Billion generated from last year Mobile ad revenue was around 35 percent of the ad revenue which is around whopping 66% increase , a 66 percent increase from last year and it amounts to 43 percent was from paid search.
The combined value of desktop and mobile paid searches was roughly $29.2 billion in 2015. Accordingly, it constitutes 49% of total digital ad revenue .
Nowadays people tend to search more from mobile then from desktop.
